In the throes of its tender melodies, it is difficult not to see a montage of late nights, long drives and better times in a John Hughes-esque movie skit. Subtly bringing the party mood down from Chemical, Alone evokes, perhaps, a touching, end-of-movie glance at a love story gone wrong. With the singer's frankly fantastic vocals, combined with his introspective lyrics, it is very easy to keep coming back to Chemical.Īlone and Did You Move On? are the final two songs of Faded Touch and act as one long outro.
